14th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 6 February, the members of the Culture and Information Committee interviewed the candidates for members of the Radio Television Serbia Public Media Institution Programme Board.


The Committee members also established the candidate list for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media elected at the proposal of the competent National Assembly committee, candidate list for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, as well as the list of organisations which united comprise а single authorised nominator, proposed by professional associations of film, stage and theatre artists and professional associations of composers in the Republic of Serbia and national councils of national minorities, by mutual agreement.

Pursuant to the Law on Public Service Broadcasting, the Committee interviewed 26 candidates and by majority vote established the final list of 28 candidates for members of the Radio Television Serbia Public Media Institution Programme Board to forward to the RTS Executive Board to elect 15 members. The following candidates were nominated: Branko Gardasevic, Tijana Naumovic, Milos Stokic, Mirjana Maksimovic, Tijana Kasper, Zelimir Gvardiol, Maja Radovic, Ivona Katic, Borka Popovic, Ana Mandic, Aleksandar Zagorac, Balsa Djogo, Aleksandar Dundjerin, Milivoje Pavlovic, Predrag Obradovic, Dejan Milenkovic, Vladan Terzic, Ivan Karl, Snezana Cvetkovic, Nebojsa Spaic, Ivan Topalovic, Dusko Medic, Maja Vukadinovic, Nikola Stojanovic, Vuk Zugic, Dijana Suboticki Miletic, Jovanka Todorovic Savovic and Milan Jankovic.

The Committee went on to establish list of candidates, who meet the requisites of the public call, for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media elected at the proposal of the competent National Assembly committee, comprising: Milos Rajkovic, Mirjana Krstic Blazic, Dr Divna Vuksanovic, Srdjan Skoro, Dr Maja Vukadinovic and Aleksandar Crkvenjakov.

The Committee also established the list of organisations which united comprise а single authorised nominator and a candidate list for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media elected at the proposal of professional associations of film, stage and theatre artists and professional associations of composers in the Republic of Serbia, comprising: Bozidar Nikolic, Zeljko Mijanovic, Bratislav Petkovic and Darko Bajic, and organisations: Association of Film Artists of Serbia, Association of Playwrights of Serbia, Serbian Academy of Film Arts and Sciences, Association of Film Actors of Serbia and Association of Film Directors of Serbia.

By majority vote the Committee also established the candidate list for member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media elected at the proposal of the national councils of national minorities, by mutual agreement, Stefan Jovanovic is the candidate, and the organisation National Council of the Roma National Minority.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Maja Gojkovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Jasmina Obradovic, Stanija Kompirovic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Ana Ciric, Mirko Krlic, Dragana Kostic, Prof. Dr Snezana Bogosavljevic Boskovic, Ljupka Mihajlovska, Aleksandra Cabraja, Aleksandra Belacic, Nikola Savic, Vesna Marjanovic, Natasa Mihailovic Vacic, Haji Milorad Stosic, Djordje Vukadinovic and Enis Imamovic, as well as MPs Bosko Obradovic and Zoran Zivkovic.
