14th Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications

At the sitting held on 20 October 2023, the members of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications considered in principle the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Communal Activities, Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Registration Procedure with the Cadastre of Real Estate and Utilities and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on State Survey and Cadastre.

The Bill amending and modifying the Law on Communal Activities was presented by Assistant Minister of Construction, Transportation and Infrastructure Dusan Radonjic who said that the Law on Communal Activities needs to be amended so as to demarcate the authority of republic communal inspectors and municipal/city republic communal inspectors.

The Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Registration Procedure with the Cadastre of Real Estate and Utilities was presented by the Director of the Republic Geodetic Authority MA Borko Draskovic and Assistant Director Gordana Zolic who said that the Law on the Registration Procedure with the Cadastre of Real Estate and Utilities needs to be amended so as to accelerate and simplify the registration procedure and ensure that compulsory registration, under law, be done if a specific law allows for the registration to be made without the passage of certification and/or determination if the conditions required for registration have been met.

The Bill amending and modifying the Law on State Survey and Cadastre was presented by Assistant Director of the Republic Geodetic Authority Gordana Zolic who said that the Law on State Survey and Cadastre needs to be amended so as to allow the registry of all types of infrastructural and underground constructions in a single location i.e. one database.

Following a discussion, the Committee members proposed, by majority vote, that the National Assembly accept the abovementioned bills.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Ugljesa Markovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Tomislav Jankovic, Milija Miletic, Ivana Nikolic, Branislav Josifovic, Prof. Dr Vladimir Obradovic, Marina Tanaskovic Lipovac, Dragan Jovanovic, Dragovan Milinkovic, Marija Jovanovic, Djordje Todorovic, Robert Kozma, Dejan Ignjatovic and Jasmina Karanac.
