14th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 19 September 2024, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered the resignation tendered to the post of MP by Selma Kucevic.

The Committee ascertained that the situation falls under Article 131, paragraph 2, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs which lists resignation as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office and proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the MP’s term of office.

The Committee also considered the request submitted by MP Edis Durgutovic and adopted the certificate allowing him to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade and the right to compensation for living separately from his family.

The Committee went on to consider the Secretary General’s notifications concerning the measures issued to maintain order at the First Extraordinary Session, 14th Legislature held on 23 July, 24 July, 29 July, 30 July and 31 July 2024, and the seventh sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee held on 6 September 2024.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Marko Milosevic, Jelena Milosevic, Djordje Komlenski, Goran Milic, Igor Jaksic, Uros Djokic, Verica Milanovic, Branimir Jovanovic, Dane Stanojcic, Nikola Bokan, Vojislav Mihailovic, Aleksandar Jugovic, Prof. Dr Miloljub Albijanic, Branko Lukic, Srdjan Milivojevic and Stefan Kitanovic.
