14th European Union-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) Meeting

National Assembly delegation comprising Marinika Tepic, Sandra Bozic, Veroljub Arsic, Aleksandar Mirkovic, Igor Becic, Elvira Kovacs, Dijana Radovic, Miroslav Aleksic, Ksenija Markovic, Djordje Miketic, Usame Zukorlic, Natasa Ivanovic and Nemanja Joksimovic went to Strasbourg to take part in the 14th meeting of the European Union-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC).


At the meeting, held 23-24 November 2022, the members of the National Assembly and European Parliament will exchange views on the state-of-play of the pre-accession talks and the current relations between the EU and Serbia, with a special focus on negotiating Cluster 1 – Fundamentals (chapters 23 and 24 in particular, including fundamental rights, freedom of expression, assembly and implementation of constitutional amendments), Cluster 4 (with a focus on environmental protection and climate change), Cluster 3 – Competitiveness and inclusive growth (focusing on Serbia’s economic growth:, cooperation between the EU and Serbia within the Common Foreign and Security Policy/Common Security and Defence Policy and alignment with said policies, as well as the Belgrade-Pristina Dialogue mediated by the EU.

Representatives of the Serbian Government, Czech Presidency of the EU Council, European Commission and the European External Action Service are taking part in the exchange of views with the European Union-Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee. On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the meeting is attended by Minister of European Integration Tanja Miscevic.
