The Activity Information was presented by Assistant Minister of Information and Telecommunications Milan Dobrijevic, who said that in the reporting period the Ministry had set up a Working Group to draft a Rulebook Proposal on the minimum conditions for the issuance of individual licenses for the use of radio frequencies following public bidding procedure in radio frequency bands 694-790 MHz, 2500-2690 MHz and 3400-3800 MHz. The Ministry had also begun drafting the Strategy of Republic of Serbia Electronic Communication Network System Development and signed the Agreement between the European Union and the Republic of Serbia on Serbia's participation in the European Union's Digital Europe programme for the period until 2027. In the reporting period, the Government of the Republic of Serbia also set up a working group for the child safety on the Internet tasked with considering, within 30 days of its establishment, the introduction of measures to ban access to websites that contain advice on how to commit murder, acquire narcotics or firearms, and proposing appropriate solutions to the Government. The Ministry of Information and Telecommunications set up a working group for the drafting of amendments and modifications to the Law on Information Security, made up of representatives of state bodies whose competence is in matters of importance for information security, and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Amazon Web Services in the state data centre in Kragujevac, as well as a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of information and communication technologies between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the State of Qatar. In the reporting period, the Ministry also began collecting the materials needed for the formation of the state delegation and the creation of the Platform for the participation of the delegation of the Republic of Serbia in the 4th Extraordinary Congress of the Universal Postal Union, to be held on 1-5 October 2023, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Assistant Minister also spoke about the inspections conducted, the Ministry's project "Connected Schools", project for the development of broadband communication infrastructure in rural areas and project Digitization of the tourist offer of the Republic of Serbia.

Following a discussion, the Committee members accepted the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications Activity Information for the period 1 April - 30 September 2023.
