138th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 20 January 2020, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the bills on the agenda of the 19th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature.

The Committee members found the Bill amending and modifying the Law on National Qualifications Framework of the Republic of Serbia, Bill on Trade Marks, Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Foundations of the Education System, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Secondary Education, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Dual Education, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of France on the Status of the French School in Belgrade, Bill on the Confirmation of the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired or Otherwise Print Disabled and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Macedonia on Cooperation in the Field of Education, Science and Technology, submitted by the Government, to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Culture, Bill on Archival Material and Archival Activity and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on the Handover of the Petersburg Page of the Miroslav Gospel to the Republic of Serbia and the Paintings of Nikolai Konstantinovich Roerich to the Russian Federation, submitted by the Government, to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nedjo Jovanovic, Vesna Vukajlovic Nikolic, Bojan Torbica, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Petar Petrovic, Krsto Janjusevic, Aleksandra Majkic, Vesna Markovic, Dr Balint Pasztor and Milena Corilic.
