12th Sitting of the Security Services Control Committee

At the sitting held on 5 October 2017 the Security Services Control Committee reviewed and adopted the Military Security Agency Activity Report.


The Committee members ascertained that the Military Security Agency Activity Report provides a comprehensive insight into the most important segments of the security agency’s work and results achieved in the reporting period.

Analysing the Military Security Agency’s efforts on the key tasks – opposing terrorism and extremism, as well as foreign intelligence services’ activities, the Committee concluded that in the reporting period the Military Security Agency had successfully realized all the tasks within its purview ensuring a timely discovery and assessment of the indicators of security threats to the defence system and employed efficient counter-intelligence and security measures to protect the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces.

The members of the Security Services Control Committee gave a positive assessment of the work of the members of the Military Security Agency, their engagement on the realization of their key tasks in opposing organized crime and corruption, security and counter-intelligence protection of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces.
