12th Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At the sitting held on 23 January, the European Integration Committee decided to organise a public hearing on the “Action Plan for meeting the recommendations of the European Commission contained in the 2012 Annual repot on the progress of the Republic of Serbia in the European integration process with special focus on reform priorities set by the European Council in December 2012”.
The public hearing will be held on 18 February 2013 at the National Assembly.
In consultation with the European Integration Office it was agreed that fight against corruption, judiciary reform, work of independent bodies and inclusion of endangered social groups (non-discrimination) be among the priority topics of the public hearing.
The Committee will invite representatives of state authorities, independent bodies, expert public, members of the European Union delegation to Serbia and diplomatic representatives to the public hearing.
European Integration Office Director Milan Pajevic attended the Committee sitting.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Milica Delevic.
