11th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues
At the sitting held on 4 November, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues adopted the requests submitted by MPs Predrag Jelenkovic and Goran Cabradi for monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade and compensation for living separately from their family.
The Committee members also reviewed the notifications submitted by the National Assembly Secretary General on the reprimands issued to MP Zoran Zivkovic to maintain order at the Second Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016, and MPs Goran Ciric, Milorad Mircic and Marko Djurisic at the Third Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016.
By majority vote, the Committee ruled to fine MPs Zoran Zivkovic, Goran Ciric, Milorad Mircic and Marko Djurisic, 10% of an MP’s base salary.
The Committee members then went on to discuss the Report on the use and disposal of National Assembly funds in the period January-September 2016, submitted by National Assembly Secretary General Svetislava Bulajic. The Report contains a breakdown of public spending and expenses realised to finance the National Assembly’s duties in said period, compared to the funds allocated in the 2016 Assembly budget, which is component part of the Republic of Serbia 2016 Budget Law. Bulajic reported that, pursuant to the law, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues had ascertained the amount of 1,867,843,000 RSD in the 2016 Assembly budget proposal, which the Government included into the Republic of Serbia 2016 Budget Bill, with no amendments, and which was in turn passed by the National Assembly. Among other things, budget savings have been realised based on the agreement between the National Assembly and UNDP on support services to project “Strengthening the Oversight Role and Transparency of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia”, signed in 2012 and according to which UNDP funds said project as donor.
The Committee adopted the Report on the use and disposal of National Assembly funds in the period January-September 2016 by majority vote.
The Committee then established the list for A-I and A-II parking stickers.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dusica Stojkovic, Marinika Tepic, Stefana Miladinovic, Branimir Jovanovic, Momo Colakovic, Veroljub Matic, Aleksandar Markovic, Jelena Mijatovic, Dr Darko Laketic and Branka Stamenkovic.
