114th sitting of the Legislative Committee

At its one hundred and fourteenth sitting, the Legislative Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed, both in principle and in particular, ten Bills proposed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.



At its one hundred and fourteenth sitting, the Legislative Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed, both in principle and in particular, ten Bills proposed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

Committee members assessed all 111 amendments submitted to the Code on Criminal Proceedings as legally possible.

Deputies had submitted 18 amendments to the Bill on Training of Judges, Public Attorneys, Assistant Public Prosecutors, and Judges’ and Prosecutors’ Assistants. The Legislative Committee ruled that six of those amendments were not legally possible.

The sitting also discussed and endorsed the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on Ordering of Courts. One amendment, assessed as legally possible, had been submitted to the Bill.

The Committee ruled that the nine amendments submitted to the Arbitration Bill were not legally possible; also assessed as not legally possible were the 15 amendments submitted to the Bill on Special Powers to Efficiently Protect Intellectual Property Rights.

No amendments were submitted to the Bill on Securities and Other Financial Instruments Market. Conversely, 34 amendments were submitted to the Investment Funds Bill, all being assessed as legally possible by the Legislative Committee.

The Committee also ruled that the 14 amendments submitted to the Bill on the Assumption of Joint-Stock Companies were legally possible, as were the 44 amendments submitted by deputies to the Accounting and Auditing Bill.

A total of 27 amendments were submitted to the Public Ski Resorts Bill. All were ruled legally possible.
