Vesna Markovic Takes Part in OSCE PA Standing Committee Meeting

The Head of the National Assembly delegation to the OSCE PA Vesna Markovic took part in the extraordinary meeting of the OSCE PA Standing Committee, held in online format on 11 March 2022.

OSCE PA President Margareta Cederfelt welcomed the participants, drawing attention to the challenges faced by the OSCE region in light of the developments in Ukraine.

The participants were then addressed by OSCE PA Secretary General Roberto Montella, former Ukrainian President and member of Verkhovna Rada Petro Poroshenko, as well as Yevhenii Tsymbaliuk, Ukraine’s standing representative to OSCE.

The introductory addresses were followed by a debate of the heads of the delegations of OSCE PA participating countries on the perspectives of parliamentary dialogue in light of the Ukrainian crisis.
