Vesna Markovic Meets with Director and Attendees of Hanns Seidel Foundation Young Talents Scholarship Institute

MP Vesna Markovic met today, at the National Assembly House, with the director and attendees of the Hanns Seidel Foundation Scholarship Institute for Young Talents.

Markovic informed the guests about the National Assembly’s scope of activities, with a special focus on the activities of the parliamentary Friendship Group with Germany, boasting 88 members which attests to the fact that Serbia considers its cooperation with Germany very important. She said that though Serbia and Germany enjoy the highest level of cooperation, that there is always room for improvement.

Markovic stressed that EU accession is Serbia’s number one foreign policy goal and informed the scholarship recipients on the association process, which was for them the most important topic of the meeting. One of the questions concerned the Serbia-Belgrade relations so Markovic briefed them on the Berlin Process.
