Third Sitting of the Election Campaign Supervisory Board

At the third sitting, held on 10 March 2022, the Election Campaign Supervisory Board discussed the Proposal of Measures to ensure candidate equality in the presentation of their programmes and decided to present to the public its views on the need to acquaint voters with the electoral programmes of the submitters of the electoral lists as an essential part of respecting the suffrage rights guaranteed by the Constitution.

The Supervisory Board also decided to go public with its position on the phenomenon present on the political scene in Serbia for a long time now and commonly known as the "functionary campaign".

At the same sitting, the Supervisory Board also considered the request of the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia which claims that members of the HOPE FOR SERBIA Coalition misrepresent themselves in order to deceive voters, in particular the voters of the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia, claiming that the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia had concluded a coalition agreement with the Democratic Party of Serbia within the HOPE FOR SERBIA Coalition, that Vojislav Mihailovic is the president and representative of POKS, and that by voting for the HOPE FOR SERBA Coalition voters of the Movement for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia vote for POKS as a coalition partner of DSS. In this regard, the Supervisory Board, acting in accordance with Article 146 of the Law on the Election of MPs, which determines the Board’s competencies, forwarded a request to the public media services to adjust any future representation of the proclaimed electoral lists Bosko Obradovic – Serbian Movement DVERI – POKS – Milos Parandilovic – Patriotic Bloc for the Restoration of the Kingdom of Serbia and Dr MILOS JOVANOVIC – HOPE FOR SERBIA – Serbia Coalition HOPE – National Democratic Alternative – Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) – For the Kingdom of Serbia (MONARCHISTS) – Vojislav Mihailovic to the decisions of the competent administrative and judiciary bodies.

The sitting was chaired by Election Campaign Supervisory Board Chairman Svetislav Goncic.

The sitting was attended by the following members of the Supervisory Board: Svetislav Goncic, Boris Bajic, Samra Fetahovic, Prof. Dr Branko M. Rakic, Prof. Dr Miodrag Savovic, Jelena Milenkovic Orlic and Aleksandar Stamatovic.
