Third Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 1 December 2022, the members Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Proposal of the Government of the Republic of Serbia requesting consent for the provisional implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia, of the one part, and the European Union, of the other part, on the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Union’s Civil Protection Mechanism, for the purpose of being granted consent by the competent Committee for the provisional implementation of the Agreement, pending its entry into force.

The Committee adopted the Proposal of the Government of the Republic of Serbia requesting consent for the provisional implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia, of the one part, and the European Union, of the other part, on the participation of the Republic of Serbia in the Union’s Civil Protection Mechanism, for the purpose of being granted consent by the competent Committee for the provisional implementation of the Agreement, pending its entry into force, presented to the Committee members by Interior Ministry representative Dejan Radinovic, head of the European Affairs Sector at the Department of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairman Aleksandar Markovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dijana Radovic, Tomislav Jankovic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Slavica Radovanovic, Borko Puskovic, Igor Braunovic, Jasmina Obradovic, Prof. Dr Zoran Dragisic, MA Igor Becic, Strahinja Erac and MA Djorde Kosanic.
