Speaker Stefanovic Receives the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Serbia
The National Assembly Speaker, MA Nebojsa Stefanovic received H.E. Ambassador Alberto Di Luca today.
On the occasion, Speaker Stefanovic thanked the Sovereign Order of Malta for its principled support and non-recognition of Kosovo-Metohija, as well as for the humanitarian aid it has been providing Serbia with in the last 20 years. The Speaker advised to continue and expand cooperation in the sphere of humanitarian issues and cultural exchange.
Ambassador Di Luca briefed Speaker Stefanovic on the Order’s activities and expressed its readiness to continue supporting the strengthening of institutions in Serbia.
They agreed in the estimate that the reform process and assumption of European standards are important for Serbia as regards the establishment of the rule of law, modernisation of its society and improvement of the Serbian citizens’ living conditions.
