At the invitation of the mayor of Kragujevac, Veroljub Stevanovic, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, again attended memorial services to mark the 64^th anniversary of the mass execution of civilians in Kragujevac during World War II.

Mr Markovic laid a wreath at the monument in Sumarice, near Kragujevac, and attended the main event of the memorial service honouring the schoolchildren killed in Nazi reprisals.
