Sixth Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee

At the sitting held on 21 February 2023, the members of the Culture and Information Committee considered the Ministry of Culture and Information Activity Information for the period 22 October – 31 December 2022.


The report, covering the Ministry’s normative and project activities, and supervision over regulatory bodies, was presented by Mihailo Jovanovic, Minister of Culture and Information. Following a debate, the Committee voted that it be adopted.

The Committee also considered, in principle, the Bill on Film and Other Audiovisual Heritage and the Bill amending the Law on Cinematography, submitted by the Government. The bills were presented by Miodrag Ivanovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, and following a debate, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept them.

The Committee then proceeded to consider the Radio Television of Serbia Public Broadcasting Service 2021 Business Report and Independent Auditor’s Report, presented by Dragan Bujosevic, RTS Director General, and Branislav Klanscek, President of the RTS Board of Directors. Following a debate, the Committee voted that the reports be adopted.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Sinisa Kovacevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Stasa Stojanovic, Edis Durgutovic, Branislav Josifovic, Natasa Tasic Knezevic, Bosko Obradovic, Draginja Vlk, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Rozalia Okresz, Branko Vukajlovic, Dragana Miljanic, Dr Danijela Grujic, Milorad Bojovic, Tatjana Manojlovic, Natasa Jovanovic, Olja Petrovic and Natasa Bogunovic.
