Second Sitting of the Subcommittee on the Issues of War Veterans and Victims of the Wars from 1991-1999
At the sitting held on 14 February, the Subcommittee on the Issues of War Veterans and Victims of the Wars from 1991-1999 discussed the organisations of a public hearing on the “Position of war veterans in Serbia”.
The public hearing will be held on 21 March 2013 at the National Assembly House and will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance and Economy and Ministry of Interior, as well as the participants of the wars, disabled soldiers and families of fallen soldiers.
As regards the petition of Veljkovic Slavco, the Subcommittee concluded that it would vote on it after the competent authorities had made their position known.
The sitting was chaired by Sasa Dujovic, Subcommittee Chairman.
