The Bill was elaborated by Radivoje Mitrovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and Mirela Boskovic from the Intellectual Property Office who said that the proposed amendments and modifications are aimed at terminological harmonisation with European Union regulations and the resulting distinct interpretation of the provisions of the Bill.
Following a short debate in which the MPs asked the representatives of the submitter about the Bill, the Committee adopted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Trademarks, in principle.
