The Head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Republic of Korea, Vesna Milekic, said she believed that intensifying interparliamentary cooperation and cultural exchange could further the two countries’ already excellent relations.

Ambassador Kim stressed that Serbia is the political and economic centre of the Western Balkans, a fact proved by the opening of the Samsung regional office in Belgrade. Ambassador Kim said that this move sent a positive signal and gave additional impulse to other South Korean investors interested in the Serbian market.

In the course of the meeting, the officials pointed out the possibility to exchange parliamentary delegation visits considering that the Parliament of the Republic of Korea had recently set up a Parliamentary Friendship Group with Serbia.
