PFG Head Zoran Bojanic welcomed the Ambassador, saying how pleased he was about the coming visit of the delegation of the town of Kraljevo and the Ministry of Defence State Secretary Nenad Neric to Niagara Falls in June to attend the 72nd summit of Serbs in Canada (Canadians of Serbian descent). On the occasion, the delegation members will meet with Canadian senators and the Mayor of Niagara Falls and discuss future tasks, objectives and the mission of the PFG with Canada. Bojanic thanked Canada for the many projects and cultural events it helped and realized in Serbia.

Canadian Ambassador to Serbia H.E. Philip Pinnington said he too was pleased by the numerous and various projects, especially the implementation of gender-responsive budgeting, and underlined the importance of the existing and future investment into Serbia, mentioning that the Canadian company Nevsun is in the process of opening a gold and copper mine in the region of Bor. Pinnington highlighted the importance of the Serbia-Canada Agreement on strategic economic partnership, also mentioning the Air Carriage Agreement Proposal currently being considered which would result in a Belgrade-Toronto line and ease the potential arrival of future investors.

Bojanic thanked the Ambassador for his efforts on strengthening parliamentary and economic cooperation, stressing the importance of fostering ties between the two continents and hoping that it would be successful.
