The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic convened the Fifth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2019, for Tuesday, 12 November, starting at 10 am.
For the agenda the National Assembly Speaker proposed the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Travel Documents, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement amending the Agreement on Operational and Strategic Cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the European Police Office, as well as the Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Serbia and the United States Department of Homeland Security on improving cooperation in order to prevent the travel of terrorists and fight against illegal migration, submitted by the Government.
The National Assembly will also consider the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the European Union Agency for cooperation in the implementation of laws on the deployment of liaison officers, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Tunisia on Replacement and Use of Driving Licences, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria on Cooperation in the Protection against Natural and Man-Made Disasters and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement among the Governments of the Participating States of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) on collaboration in Emergency Assistance and Emergency Response to Natural and Man-Made Disasters and the Additional Protocol to the Agreement among the Governments of the Participating States of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) on collaboration in Emergency Assistance and Emergency Response to Natural and Man-Made Disasters, submitted by the Government.
The National Assembly Speaker also proposed that the MPs deliberate on the Candidate List for President of the Commission for Protection of Competition and the Candidate List for three members of the Council of the Commission for Protection of Competition, submitted by the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy, and the Proposal of the Decision for the election of a member of the Securities Commission, submitted by the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending.
The sitting will be held in the Grand Hall of the National Assembly House, at 13 Nikola Pasic Square.
