The National Assembly set an agenda containing one item:

1. Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia, submitted by the National Bank of Serbia.

At the beginning of the sitting, National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic greeted the members of the delegation of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, headed by Vice-Chairperson Zhang Rongming, who viewed part of the sitting from the gallery of the Grand Hall.

At the beginning of the sitting, the heads i.e. authorised representatives of the parliamentary groups, MPs Aleksandar Jugovic, Maja Gojkovic, Olena Papuga, Miljenko Dereta, Janko Veselinovic, Marko Jaksic and Vuceta Toskovic requested information and explanations in line with article 287 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.

The Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia was elaborated by the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, Jorgovanka Tabakovic.

By the end of the day the National Assembly had conducted and concluded a debate in principle on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia.

On the second day of the proceedings, 5 November, the National Assembly conducted and concluded a debate in detail on the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia.

As the National Assembly had concluded the debate on the only item on the agenda for the Fourth Sitting of the Second Regular Session, National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, set Monday, 5 November 2012, as Voting Day on the item on the agenda for the Fourth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly in 2012, starting at 2:30 pm.

Voting Day

On Voting Day, 5 November 2012, the National Assembly adopted the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the National Bank of Serbia, by a majority of votes.

On Voting Day, the National Assembly also ruled on the violations of the Rules of Procedure and decided that none of the provisions of the Rules of Procedure had been violated.

As the National Assembly had completed the debate on the only item on the agenda and ruled on it, National Assembly Speaker MA Nebojsa Stefanovic, concluded the Fourth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2012.
