Fourth Sitting of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee

At its fourth sitting, held on 26 January 2021, the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Russian Federation on Cooperation in the Fight Against Terrorism, submitted by the Government.

The Bill was presented by Zoran Lazarov. Assistant Minister of the Interior, and the Committee members accepted it.

The Committee members also considered the petitions sent to the Committee and ascertained how to handle them further at the proposal of Committee Chairman Aleksandar Markovic.

The Committee went on to accept the proposal of MP Ugljesa Mrdic that the Ministry of the Interior should submit a Report post haste on the allegations of wiretapping of the Serbian President.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Markovic, and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Vladan Zagradjanin, Natasa Ljubisic, Ugljesa Mrdic, Marijana Krajnovic, Dusko Tarbuk, Milovan Drecun, Justina Pupin Koscal, Prof. Dr. Zoran Dragisic, Ivan Ribac, Srbislav Filipovic, Dragan Markovic and Aleksandar Mirkovic.
