First Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Convened

National Assembly Speaker Dr Nebojsa Stefanovic convened the First Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia for Wednesday, 16 April 2014, starting at 4 pm.


The following six-item agenda has been set for the First Sitting of the National Assembly, in line with Article 101 of the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia, Article 16 of the Law on the National Assembly and Article 4 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure: verification of the MPs’ terms of office, election of the Speaker of the National Assembly, election of the Deputy Speakers of the National Assembly, appointment of the Secretary General of the National Assembly, election of members of the National Assembly’s working bodies and election of members of standing parliamentary delegations to international institutions.

The sitting will be held at the Grand Hall of the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 13 Nikola Pasic Square.

  • 13.00 - the National Assembly Speaker meets with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Serbia (National Assembly House, 13 Nikola Pasic Square, Speaker’s Cabinet)
