First Sitting of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy
The Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy held its first sitting on 24 July 2012.
As stipulated in Article 25 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, the sitting was convened by the National Assembly Speaker.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member present, MP Petar Skundric from the Socialist Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group.
The Committee members elected Member of Parliament Dr Aleksandra Tomic, from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairperson, while the Committee Deputy Chairperson would be elected at one of the upcoming sittings.
