First Sitting of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society
The Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society held its first sitting on 28 May 2014. The sitting was convened by the National Assembly Speaker, as stipulated in article 25, paragraph 1, of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure.
Pending the election of Committee Chairperson, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, Riza Halimi from the SDA Sandzak – Party of Democratic Action Parliamentary Group.
The Committee members elected MA Aleksandra Jerkov, from the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Chairperson and Ljubisa Stojmirovic, from the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group, Committee Deputy Chairman.
