First Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature
At the proposal of 159 MPs, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic convened the First Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in its 11th legislature for Friday, 12 August.
The request to hold the session specified the following four-item agenda:
2. Proposal of the Decision on the Establishment of the Composition of the Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, submitted by National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic;
3. Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of the Committees of the the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, submitted by Social Democratic Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group; and
4. Proposal of the Decision on the Dismissal and Appointment of Members and Substitute Members of the Republic Electoral Commission, submitted by MP Aleksandar Martinovic.
The National Assembly accepted the proposal of MP Igor Becic to complete a joint single debate on all the items on the agenda for the session.
The National Assembly then proceeded to commence the joint single debate on all the items on the agenda for the First Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature.
By the end of the day the National Assembly had completed the joint single debate on all the items on the agenda for the session.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic set Friday, 12 August, as Voting Day on all the items on the agenda for the First Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature, starting at 1.51 pm.
Voting Day
On Voting Day, 12 August, by majority vote, the National Assembly adopted the Proposal of the Decision on the Establishment of the Composition of the Standing Delegations of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to International Parliamentary Institutions, Proposal of the Decision on the Establishment of the Composition of the Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee, Proposal of the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of the Committees of the the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the Proposal of the Decision on the Dismissal and Appointment of Members and Substitute Members of the Republic Electoral Commission.
As the National Assembly had completed the debate on all the items on the agenda and ruled on them, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic concluded the First Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature.
