Eighth Sitting of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy
At the sitting held on 10 July, the members of the Committee on the Economy, Regional Development, Trade, Tourism and Energy discussed the Report on the natural disaster – flood suffered by the Republic of Serbia and measures employed to save the population and defend the threatened areas from the flood, submitted by the Government.
The Committee members discussed the part of the Report relating to the activities and measures employed to save the population and defend the threatened areas from the flood by the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and the Ministry of Mining and Energy.
The parts of the Report containing the chief activities and measures employed by said Ministries within their scope, were presented by Dusan Protic, Assistant Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Mirjana Radulovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Mining and Energy and Dejan Radulovic, Assistant Minister of Economy.
Following a short debate, the Committee unanimously adopted the Conclusion Proposal to be submitted to the National Assembly for discussion and adoption with the proposal that the National Assembly discuss it by urgent procedure, stating that the Committee accepted the Report of the Government of the Republic of Serbia on the natural disaster – flood suffered by the Republic of Serbia and measures employed to save the population and defend the threatened areas from the flood.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic.
