At the sitting held on 23 February 2023, the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society considered the Ministry of Education Activity Information for the period October-December 2022, Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Activity Information for the period October-December 2022 and the Ministry of Sport Activity Information for the period October-December 2022.
The Ministry of Education Activity Information was presented by Minister of Education Branko Ruzic, who said that in the reporting period the Ministry of Education had achieved significant results in the implementation of policy in the field of education. He listed the implemented normative and programmatic activities and the application of positive regulations in accordance with modern tendencies in the development of the international, and especially European, educational area. He went on to say that at the education fair organised in October 2022 all levels of education were presented on a daily basis, with the aim of making the education system better and stimulating for both students and teachers.
Following a constructive debate, the Committee members accepted the Ministry of Education Activity Information for the period October-December 2022.
The Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Activity Information for the period October-December 2022 was presented by State Secretary at the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Vukasin Gvozdic who briefed the Committee members on the normative and project activities in the field of scientific research, as well as technological development and innovation.
The Committee members accepted the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Activity Information for the period October-December 2022 by majority vote.
The Ministry of Sport Activity Information for the period October-December 2022 was presented by Minister of Sport Zoran Gajic who informed the Committee members about the Ministry's normative and programmatic activities in the reporting period. Gajic informed the Committee about the implementation of the IPA 2014 project "Renovation and improvement of the safety conditions on children's playgrounds".
The Committee members accepted the Ministry of Sport Activity Information for the period October-December 2022 by majority vote.
