“I am sure that your experience and active position will contribute to the further development of cooperation between Serbia and Belarus. The Belarusian President’s high award attests to it”, states Ambassador Chushev in his congratulatory note.
Ambassador Chushev stressed that interparliamentary cooperation is an important segment in the strengthening of the relationship between the two friendly nations and expansion of economic, political and cultural ties.
The Head of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Belarus, Dragomir J. Karic, expressed his firm belief that cooperation between MPs at the level of parliamentary friendship groups would raise the cooperation between the Serbian and Belarusian parliaments to a higher level. He commended Ambassador Chushev’s initiative to organise the first meeting with the members of the National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Belarus.
The Parliamentary Friendship Group with Belarus comprises 20 members, while, so far, the National Assembly has created a total of 56 friendship groups.
