The topic of the debate was “The Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation – Past Experience and Future Prospects”. The meeting also touched on past achievements, prospects and models for the further improvement of PABSEC’s work, as well as the challenges the organisation faces. It was concluded that, by addressing issues of wider importance for the Black Sea region, PABSEC had achieved significant progress in its work up to date.
The meeting was attended by the delegation heads of all PABSEC member states viz.: Serbia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Romania, Russian Federation, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Turkey, Ukraine and Albania, as well as the deputy speakers of the Ukrainian and Romanian parliament.
In the course of the celebration of its 20th anniversary, PABSEC presented individuals from the ranks of the organisation’s management, current and former national delegation members, as well as national delegation secretaries, with medals for their valuable support and contribution to PABSEC’s activities.
PABSEC presented medals to the former members of the National Assembly’s delegation to the organisation, Aleksandar Vlahovic and Jorgovanka Tabakovic, as well as the secretaries of the National Assembly’s delegation to PABSEC, Milena Ljubinkovic and Stanko Blagojevic.
