The President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Natasa Micic, declared that a vote would be taken on the Bill on the Foundations of the Education and Upbringing System at 11 a.m. on Tuesday 17 June.

President Natasa Micic convened the Ninth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2003, at the request of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, for 12 noon on Tuesday 17 June 2003.

The session’s agenda was set by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in its request for the holding of the session.

The National Assembly will discuss the Bill on the Action Plan for the Harmonisation of Economic Systems of Member States of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro Designed to Prevent and Dismantle Obstacles to the Free Movement of People, Goods, Services and Capital.

The session will also discuss the Bill on the Organisation and Competencies of State Bodies in Proceedings Against Perpetrators of War Crimes, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Organisation and Competencies of State Bodies in Combating Organised Crime, as well as the Bill Amending the Penal Code of the Republic of Serbia and the Bill on the Prevention of Violence and Improper Behaviour at Sports Events.

A Proposal for the Election of a Member of the Government of the Republic of Serbia was also included in the agenda.
