7th session of the Board of Inquiry Charged with Ascertaining the Truth about New-born Babies Abducted from Maternity Wards in Several Serbian Cities

The Board of Inquiry Charged with Ascertaining the Truth about New-born Babies Abducted from Maternity Wards in Several Serbian Cities held its seventh session on 26 September.


The Board of Inquiry Charged with Ascertaining the Truth about New-born Babies Abducted from Maternity Wards in Several Serbian Cities held its seventh session on 26 September.

Members of the Board of Inquiry met hospital officials to discuss how medical documents were kept, issued and stored.

The Board invited the following individuals to attend the session: Radica Bulajic, graduate jurist, employed at the Institute of Gynaecology and Obstetrics of the Serbian Clinical Centre in Belgrade, Olivera Bacic, Head Nurse at the maternity ward of the Novi Sad Clinical Centre, Dr Slobodanka Ilic, director of the Belgrade Neonatology Institute, Dr Predrag Cvetanovic from the Nis Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic, and Dr Nedjo Cutura, head of the maternity ward of the People’s Front Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic.

Dr Ilic and Dr Cutura, who were the only officials to attend, answered questions posed by deputies.
