51st Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending
At the sitting held on 10 June, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending discussed and, after a short debate, adopted the Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (State Owned Enterprises Reform Development Policy Loan) and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (Improvement of Land Administration in Serbia Project), submitted by the Government.
The Committee members then went on to formulate conclusion proposals on the reviewed Anti-Corruption Agency 2014 Activity Report accompanied by the Report on the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy of the Republic of Serbia for the period 2013-2018 and the Action Plan for its implementation, Fiscal Council 2014 Activity Report, State Audit Institution 2014 Activity Report and the Activity Report on the Republic Commission for the Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, for the period 1 July - 31 December 2014, and submit them to the National Assembly for consideration and adoption.
Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic informed the attending that the Committee had signed two very important memorandums of cooperation – with the Ministry of Finance, launching the formal work on the establishment of the Public Finance Supervision Portal, and the State Audit Institution, establishing the course of cooperation as regards financial control over the government.
