On behalf of the submitter, the Bill was presented by Senior Adviser at the Ministry of Finance Tatjana Stanic, saying that the Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and each of the EFTA states concludes an agreement on agricultural products on a bilateral basis. An integral part of the Agreement is Protocol B on the definition of the term “products with origin” and methods of administrative cooperation. As the bilateral Agreement on Agricultural Products between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Norway, in order to apply the rules of origin, in Article 3 refers to the provisions of Protocol B which is an integral part of the Agreement, it is necessary to amend the provisions of this Article for the purposes of harmonisation with the provisions of the amended Protocol B, stated Stanic.

Following the presentation, the Committee unanimously decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the Bill on the Confirmation of the Amendment to the Agreement on Agriculture between the Republic of Serbia and the Kingdom of Norway.
