43rd Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 12 March, the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending discussed, in principle, the Bill on Determining Public Interest and Special Procedures of Expropriation and Issuance of Building License for the Realisation of Project “Belgrade Waterfront”, submitted by the Government.


Assistant Minister of Finance Radmila Jagodic provided the rationale for the Bill. Following a debate in which the Committee members shared their opinions on the Bill, the Committee adopted the Bill on Determining Public Interest and Special Procedures of Expropriation and Issuance of Building License for the Realisation of Project “Belgrade Waterfront”, by majority vote. The Committee members also discussed and adopted the Bill on the Confirmation of the 15,000,000 EUR Loan Agreement between KfW, Frankfurt-am-Main and the Republic of Serbia for project “Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings”, submitted by the Government.

The Committee then proceeded to deliberate on the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media 2015 Financial Plan, harmonised with the Opinion of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, elaborated by the Vice Chairperson of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media Goran Petrovic. The Committee submitted a report to the National Assembly accompanied by a Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media 2015 Financial Plan.

The Committee Chairman informed the Committee members and invited them to attend the meeting with a delegation of the Belgian Parliament which is to visit the National Assembly on 19 March.

The Committee Chairman also informed the Committee members that Vojislav Vujic has joined the Subcommittee for the Consideration of Reports on Audits Conducted by the State Audit Institution.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic.
