41st Sitting of the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications
At the sitting held on 25 September 2015, the Committee on Spatial Planning, Transport, Infrastructure and Telecommunications discussed and accepted the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Activity Report for the period 1 April – 30 June 2015.
In terms of legislative activities, the Ministry had adopted the Rulebook amending and modifying the Rulebook on establishing a Plan for the issuance of commemorative postage stamps and securities and motifs of regular postage stamps and securities, as well as the Rulebook amending and modifying the Rulebook on the Transfer from Analogue to Digital Broadcasting of TV Programmes and Access to Multiplex.
The representatives also said that the Ministry is in the process of passing a Rulebook on the requirements for equipment and programme support for lawful interception of electronic communication and data retention on electronic communication. The transfer from analogue to digital TV signal broadcasting conducted by the Ministry was of special interest. The Ministry representatives also spoke of the promotional campaign intended to inform the public about the digitalisation process, realised by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications and the Public Media Service, in cooperation with the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media and all broadcasters.
They also mentioned the public call service about the digitalisation process, launched on 3 April 2015.
In the period covered by the Report, the Ministry also set up a Working Group for the preparation of a Draft Law on Information Security intended to regulate safety risk protection measures in the information and communication systems.
On the behalf of the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, the sitting was attended by assistant ministers Irina Reljin and Sava Savic and associates.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milutin Mrkonjic.
