Assistant Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government Dejan Radulovic briefed the Committee members on the Ministry’s activities in said trimester related to the sphere of regional development, strategic analysis and research, decentralisation of the state, international cooperation, European integration and investments into infrastructural projects. The Committee members were particularly interested in the problem of unequal economic development among the different regions of Serbia. They also pointed out the need to adopt regional development strategies.
Following the debate, the Committee members adopted the Ministry of Regional Development and Local Self-Government Activity Information for the period October – December 2012.
Explaining the Ministry’s Activity Report for the period November – December 2012 and January 2013, State Secretary at the Ministry of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning Tomislav Subaranovic presented the most important activities of the Mining and Geology Sector. In the course of the debate, the Committee members received additional information on the Ministry’s normative activities, as well as the procedure for the issuance of geological research permits and the business dealings of certain Serbian mines.
Following the debate, the Committee adopted the Ministry of Natural Resources, Mining and Spatial Planning Activity Report for the period November – December 2012 and January 2013.
The Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications Activity Report for the period November – December 2012 and January 2013 was explained to the Committee members by the Ministry’s State Secretary Dragovan Milicevic. He outlined the most important activities in the field of bilateral economic cooperation, multilateral and regional economic and commercial cooperation, trade, services, prices and consumer protection. Following the debate which focused on the work and results of economic diplomats, as well as addressing the problem of gray economy in the state, the Committee adopted the Activity Report.
The Committee members went on to review the Ministry of Finance and Economy activity reports on the Privatisation Agency for October, November and December 2012 and January 2013, elaborated by Assistant Minister of Finance and Economy Misela Nikolic and Privatisation Agency Director Vladislav Cvetkovic. The debate revolved around companies in restructuring, validation of health insurance booklets of the employees of said companies and privatisation on the territory of Kosovo-Metohija. Following the debate, the Committee members adopted said activity reports on the Privatisation Agency.
