19th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 8 February 2021, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the Social Card Bill, submitted by the Government, in principle.

Following a discussion, the Committee found the Social Card Bill to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee went on to consider the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Kingdom of Lesotho on Cooperation in the Field of Defence, submitted by the Government, and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia on Cooperation in the Fight against Migrant Smuggling, submitted by the Government, in principle. The Committee found both bills to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nevena Veinovic, Zeljko Tomic, Olja Petrovic, Vuk Mircetic, Luka Kebara, Ugljesa Mrdic, Dubravka Kralj, Toma Fila, Arpad Fremond, Ilija Matejic, Milenko Jovanov and Violeta Ocokoljic.
