13th Session of the Constitutional Commission Held

The Constitutional Commission held the thirteenth session on November 20, at 12.00 h. Mr. Vladan Batic, Ph. D., presided over this session.
The Constitutional Commission members discussed the Report on the Work on Making of the Constitution of Serbia.
It was noted that the Constitutional Commission held 13 sessions in the period from May 9 to November 20, that the Basic Issues and Coordination Sub-Committee held 18, the Territorial Organization Sub-Committee 10, and the Human Rights Sub-Committee 6 sessions, totaling 47 sessions.
Result of the Constitutional Commission work realized so far is the Working Text of the Draft Constitution, included to which are alternatives from both the Preamble and parts regulating territorial organization and local self-administration, organization of state administration and the way of election of the President of the Republic.
The Constitutional Commission is not to hold any sessions from now on, until conditions for its work are fulfilled.
