12th Sitting of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society
At the sitting held on 25 February, the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society adopted the proposal to organise a public hearing on Diploma Nostrification, submitted by Committee member Miljenko Dereta.
The public hearing will be held on 7 March 2013, at the National Assembly House, Small Hall, starting at 11 am.
The Committee members underlined the importance of the topic, stressing that the difficult process of diploma nostrification for students who wish to return into the country hampers their employment, which is why the issue should be reviewed from several aspects.
The Committee also discussed the invitation the Vinca Institute of Nuclear Sciences sent to the Committee members, inviting them to take part in the 18th Informative Meeting on the TESLA accelerator installation: Industrial production of positron emission tomography radiopharmaceuticals, to be held on 27 February 2013, at the Vinca Institute. The Committee members agreed that concerned Committee members expert in the field should take part in the meeting.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Deputy Chairman, Prof. Dr Milan Knezevic.
