Danijela Muljinovic presented the Bill on the behalf of the Ministry of Finance and Economy, stressing that it envisages the creation of AP Vojvodina Development Fund based on the Agreement between the republican and provincial government on the transfer of assets and liabilities of Vojvodina Development Bank. It regulates the manner of funding, management and regulation of the AP Vojvodina Development Fund. Muljinovic added that the provisions of the Company Law will apply to the AP Vojvodina Development Fund, and the fund will be financed by the AP Vojvodina budget. The Fund’s main goals will be the development of economy, small and medium-sized enterprises, stimulation of employment, as well as uniform regional development.
The Committee members showed interest in the control mechanisms of the AP Vojvodina Development Fund, founding acts and types of stimulation intended for the less developed parts of Vojvodina.
