Uta Zapf Regrets Amendments Submitted to Draft Resolution on Combat against Illicit Human Organ Trafficking
Uta Zapf, member of the German delegation to the OSCE PA, said today that she regrets submitting amendments to the Draft Resolution on Combat against Illicit Human Organ Trafficking submitted to the OSCE PA by the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the organisation, demanding that the investigation be headed by UNMIK in cooperation with EULEX.
Zapf commended today’s presentation which convinced her of the explanation of Serbia’s position that an investigation of this kind should be under a UN mandate.
Yesterday, the OSCE PA General Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian Questions unanimously accepted the Draft Resolution on Combat against Illicit Human Organ Trafficking submitted by the National Assembly’s standing delegation to the organisation, with the amendments submitted by the German and US delegations to Articles 10 and 15 of the Draft Resolution.
