Sixth Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 16 September, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending ascertained the questions for the public procurement expertise test of candidates for the election of two members of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures.


Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic reminded the Committee members of the principles for candidate testing and formulation of the expertise test. The test is to have 42 questions selected out of the 80 questions prepared by the Committee’s service, the testing is to last 90 minutes and the threshold to pass onto the next election stage is 34 correct answers.

The Committee members also reviewed the requests for prior written consent to perform additional paid activities submitted by employees of the Public Procurement Office, and preceded to grant consent to the submitters Danijela Bojovic, Milos Jovic and Olivera Rajkovic.

The Committee Chairperson announced a workshop with representatives of the State Audit Institution on the presentation of sector findings from audit reports, to be held on Monday 19 September, and informed the Committee members about the invitation of the President of the Serbian Stock Exchange to visit the institution and have a sitting outside of the National assembly seat there.

Finally, the representatives of the Parliamentary Budget Office presented their work so far and the activities planned for the coming period to the Committee members.

The sitting was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Krasic, Veroljub Arsic, Dusan Pavlovic, Zoltan Pek, Vojislav Vujic, Goran Kovacevic, Momo Colakovic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Goran Ciric, Nikola Jolovic, Olivera Pesic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Gorica Gajic and Zika Gojkovic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic.
