Seventy-Fifth Sitting of the Administrative Committee
At the sitting on 23 November, the Administrative Committee considered the grounds for termination of term of office of deputy Slobodan Maras.
At the sitting on 23 November, the Administrative Committee considered the grounds for termination of term of office of deputy Slobodan Maras. The Committee members unanimously adopted the proposal that the Administrative Committee should submit a Report to the National Assembly establishing sufficient grounds for termination of the deputy’s term of office before the expiration of the term he was elected to.
The Administrative Committee considered the assembly budget proposal for 2011, elaborated by National Assembly Secretary-General Veljko Odalovic. He said that the National Assembly was for the first time planning its budget in accordance to the Law on the National Assembly and Rules of procedure. The assembly budget proposal envisages a 1.81 billion RSD budget, 763.6 million RSD of which for the needs of the deputies, and 1.05 billion RSD for the needs of the support service. The Committee members pointed out that the fact that the National Assembly was adopting its own budget for the first time is a big step forward and made several suggestions and proposals so as to specify some of the items of the proposed budget and best allocate the planned funds.
In the continuation of the sitting, on 24 November, the Administrative Committee unanimously established the 2011 Assembly Budget Proposal.
At the sitting the Committee considered deputy Branko Ruzic’s Request for an opinion from article 23 of the Anti-Corruption Agency Law and adopted the opinion allowing the deputy to perform the duty of Council member of the Belgrade University Faculty of Political Sciences.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Nenad Konstantinovic.
