The National Assembly Speaker set an agenda bearing one item:

1. President of the Republic of Serbia to take the oath of office.

The National Assembly noted the resignation of Aleksandar Vucic to the post of Prime Minister to assume the office of President of the Republic, to which he was elected in the presidential election on 2 April 2017.

The President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic proceeded to take the oath of office before the National Assembly by reading the text set out in the Constitution, after which the RTS choir sang the national anthem “God of Justice”.

The President then addressed the National Assembly.

Following the address of the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic concluded the Seventh Special Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th legislature.
