Marinkovic highlighted the importance of establishing an equal opportunities environment, saying that after graduation the students should emerge as creators of innovative ideas. Economic growth can be achieved by stimulating the private sector and reforming the public sector by rationalising the workforce, said Marinkovic.

Deputy Speaker Marinkovic also drew attention to the many new reform laws which would have a positive impact on economic development, adding that before the end of March the MPs would also discuss the Law on Inspections which is to consolidate all the inspections and enable the control of unregistered subjects.

The students had questions about loan interest rates, work of the agencies and youth cooperatives and the problem of unregistered employees in the private sector.

They also asked how the state planned to motivate young people to remain in Serbia after the completion of their formal schooling.
