“Dear children,

No offence to the MPs, but it is much nicer to hear your children’s voices in this Assembly Hall. I would like to ask you to daydream as much as you want, play in nature with your peers whatever games you come up with. Spend as little time as you can in front of the TV or with the computer, and as much as you can in an environment stimulating to your imagination. The Parliament is at its most joyful today. You are the future of our country, some among you will govern Serbia and the world. Rely on us, adults, because we are taking care of your future”.

Chalk Drawing from Imagination was marked by a children’s programme, song, drawing and writing of messages on the plateau in front of the Assembly. The children presented the Assembly Speaker with gifts – drawings and plaques of gratitude, and after the musical programme in the Grand Hall the children covered the plateau in front of the Assembly with various chalk messages and drawings. The best works will be awarded and then put on display at the Serbian Assembly.
