The representatives of the Gay Straight Alliance outlined the organisation’s activities on the preparation of the Annual Report on the status of human rights of LGBT people in Serbia for 2014. The report is expected to be completed soon and presented at the National Assembly on 25 March 2015. The report will cover both the progress achieved in the last year and the areas that require additional efforts in order to adequately protect the rights of LGBT people. They added that state bodies and other institutions in charge of protecting the human rights of LGBT people had contributed to the report. They also discussed the Committee’s activities on the preparation of the Declaration against Violence, Hate Speech and Hate Crime and the upcoming international music festival Tolerance Zone, on 1 and 2 May, co-organised by the city of Zajecar and the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA). On the behalf of the Gay Straight Alliance, the meeting was attended by Mirjana Bogdanovic, Lazar Pavlovic and Nikola Milosavljevic.
